Diwali Celebration at IBS Pune |

On 3rd November 2007, the festival of light was celebrated at IBS Pune in collaboration with Rotract Club and Alpha foundation. Number of Alumnae of IBS Pune were also present to motivate current students and pass the torch of knowledge from one batch to another. The program started with illumination of lamp by the Director, Prof. Dhananjay Keskar. The celebration consists of Rangoli Competition, Collage Making Competition, Card Making Competition, Diya Decoration Competition, Duet & Solo Singing Competition and Dance Competition. Famous Marathi Music Composer Mr. Jitendra Kulkarni provided accompaniment on synthesizer along with his colleagues. At the end cash prizes were presented by the Director to the winners. As a symbol of spreading and sharing happiness at the auspicious occasion of Diwali, sweets were distributed to everybody. It was a very enthusiastic gathering of Faculty, Staff and Students. |
