Yet again the Poora Poona team pulled up a spectacular Business Mavin competition at SICSR on 29th of Sept’ 07. This was the third of the series of 8 such events, planned across Pune B- Schools. Business Mavin is the search for the best business minds out of B- Schools in Pune.
This event was sponsored by ApnaCircle.com a social and professional networking site, PagalGuy.com everything about MBA and Poora Poona’s offline content partner and McGraw Hill Education.
Prof. Nene from the college faculty and Mrs. Suhasini Kirloskar CEO Adastra Media and publisher of a niche magazine- Winning Edge, were the honorable judges.
This time's event saw an introduction of guessing the number of pebbles inside a glass jar. The closest entry to the right number had a chance to win Rs.500. Also there were audience questions where people in the audience took away Rs.500 each for questions answered correctly. These prizes were sponsored by ApnaCircle.com and McGraw Hill education.
12 teams of 3 members each participated in the competition. 3 teams Griffins, Masterminds and RMS made it to the final round. Griffins and MasterMinds were the strongest competitors. With excellent team work, communication and presentation skills, Aakanksha Kshatriya, Aditya Sarana, and Pawan Kohle- team Griffins, defeated MasterMinds to become the Business Mavin winners of SICSR.
