ImageSoonR (soonr.com), is an application that delivers the power of a PC to your regular web enabled mobile phone handset by letting you remotely access your outlook, skype, documents, pictures, etc. while you are away from your desktop. Features of this application include:

  • SoonR Desktop : This will help you remotely access and manage all the files and folders on your desktop PC.

  • SoonR Organizer: Access Outlook and Mac Mail/Addresses from your mobile phone or remote computer.

  • SoonR Talk : Skype call your buddies and do conferences all over the world from your mobile phone.

Register yourself on the website. Download and install the SoonR desktop agent. Once the SoonR client is installed and activated, manage the files, folders, application you would want to access. Also create your SoonR account. No software needs to be installed on the mobile handset. If users want access to more than one computer with a single login, then the SoonR client needs to be installed on each computer with instructions to log into the same account.

Now you can launch the web browser on your GPRS enable handset or any other remote computer to login to your SoonR account and access and share the files, folders, photos, etc.

SoonR basic accounts are free and the users can access photos, files, and documents and even share them with others.  The upcoming premium paid plan will guarantee the users to access the desired information even when the host computer is switched off.

SoonR is very useful for salesmen, businessmen, and marketing people.

In India where still the speed of internet on the mobile phone is so slow, I really don’t know how useful will this service be. Advent of 3G networks in India will surely change the picture.
